The activities of Parish Life are varied and enriching, providing something for everyone!

bulletART & ENVIRONMENT...Is responsible for preparing visual displays in church which illustrate the seasonal theme.

bulletCULTURAL ENRICHMENT AND OUTREACH...Draws upon the rich cultural diversity of our parish, through celebrations, programs, and liturgies from our Filipino-American, African-American, and Hispanic-American communities.

bulletEUCHARISTIC MINISTERS...Assist the priest in distributing Holy Communion at Mass.

bulletMINISTERS OF THE WORD/LECTORS...Proclaim the scriptures at Mass.
bulletMUSIC MINISTRY...We have adults’ and children’s choirs; the purpose of each being to lead the congregation in song at Mass and other parish celebrations. The adult choir regularly sings at the 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday Masses as well as special events. The children’s choir sings at the weekday school Masses, and at the monthly family Mass.

bulletCANTORS...Lead the congregation at mass when the choir is not singing. The ministry is open to high school students and adults of the parish.

bulletALTAR SERVERS... Are the young people in grade 6 or above who serve at Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

bulletUSHERS AND GREETERS... A ministry of hospitality and welcoming composed of men, women and teens who greet and assist the congregation during Mass and other celebrations.
 
bulletWELCOMING COMMITTEE...Extends the welcome of St. Lawrence O'Toole Parish to newly registered parishioners.

bulletACCOUNTS COMMITTEE...Is responsible for recording and depositing all monies contributed to the parish. Each member must be approved by the pastor before serving.

bulletATHLETIC PROGRAMS...Over 30 basketball - informal games played one evening each week during the school year, for men of the parish over 30 years of age.
bulletFINANCE COMMITTEE...A lay advisory team which assists the pastor with budgeting, financial controls and decisions involving expenditures. Members are appointed by the pastor.

bulletSINGLE PARENT'S NETWORK...Support and social network for single parents.
 
bulletMEN’S CLUB...The Men’s Club of St. Lawrence O’Toole is a very active service and social organization for all men of the parish.

bulletWOMEN’S CLUB...The Women’s Club of St. Lawrence O’Toole is a very active service and social organization for all women of the parish.

bulletYOUNG AT HEART...Is a very active service and social organization for parishioners who are 55 and over. Monthly meetings begin with Mass which is followed by lunch and an activity (guest speaker, planning an outing or service project, card or bunco games, etc.).

bulletSOCIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE...Helps organize the parish festival, anniversary celebrations, and other fun times!!!

bulletMARKET DAY...A food-buying service that provides excellent quality, great prices, and a way to defray school tuition or contribute to the church.  In addition, any profits from Market Day go to the school.
