Thank you to those of you who responded to the invitation to return to Mass on May 1-2. The attendance numbers are a step in the right direction. As I stated last week, the Saturday evening Mass is already averaging about 50 people per Mass. However, the 8:30am on May 2nd was 43 people and the 11:00am was 53 people. That is GREAT, but as has been stated many times by the government, we cannot fall back into our old ways of doing things. I believe this coming Sunday will be a little bit better because of Mother's Day -- it's special. I hope this weekend and next will bring even more people to our spiritual home. It would feel great to keep the pre-COVID Mass schedule, but as I stated, that will depend on what we average between yesterday, this coming weekend, and the following. otherwise, it'll be back to Sunday Mass being at 10am. I know it can feel confusing, but I know we have the potential to fill our church during these COVID times. I pray we will once again.
